Look above at Naperville Market Activity from 2020 to 2021
This past year the real estate market has been amazing.
The total # of homes for sale in 2021 was lower than in 2020 by a whopping -56.9%.
The average sales price of Detached Single Family Homes increased by 13.6%
Homes were selling in multiple offers, flying off the shelves with the Average Mkt time down to -50.6%

Similarly, across the Midwest homes have been selling like hotcakes. Demand is high, supply is low but interest rates are also low, with the total number homes for sale in 2021 lower than in 2020 by a whopping 33.0%. Causing the price of Single Family Homes for example to go up by 14.7%.
There’s no denying it, the housing market is expected to continue to have a great year! So sellers should sell because they’ll net the most money, and buyer’s should buy because of the low interest rates. With everyone’s participation, we can balance out supply and demand of homes.
